The big news is that Her Royal Highness will be leading a belly dance tour to Egypt this summer, along with Zahra Zuhair! Dates are June 25, 2010-July 4, 2010. Of course, itinerary is built around Cairo’s fabulous Ahlan Wa Sahlan Festival, and there is also an optional 5 Star cruise to Upper Egypt, (from July 5-9, 2010) which includes Luxor, Aswan, The Valley Of The Kings, Kom Ombo, and the exquisite Deir El Bahry, temple of Queen Hatshepsut. There will be plenty of time for sight-seeing in Cairo, too, and we will visit Khan Al Khalili, The Sphinx& Pyramids, The Egypt Museum, and spend a night on the glamorous Nile Maxim floating supper club, with a show by Randa Kamel. NEW INSTRUCTIONAL AND PERFORMANCE DVDS

Michelle Joyce and Cheeky Girl’s Productions’ instructional DVD “Combo-Nation” and “By Dancers, For Dancers Vol. 5”, a performance DVD are both available now. PRINCESS FARHANA ON THE SILVER SCREEN… OR YOUR TELEVISION!

You may have seen Princess Farhana on a movie or television screen … and if you haven’t yet, you will soon! In May 2009, The Princess went to Macon, Georgia to shoot Steve Balderson’s new movie “Stuck!” Cinema noir homage to vintage women’s prison films, “Stuck!” was shot in black and white, and also starts cinematic legends Karen Black and Mink Stole. The film features classic “ broads behind bars” action: a wrongly accused heroine, machine-gun quick hipster dialog and death-block cat fights!

The film made it’s worldwide premiere at The Raindance Film Festival in London, October 2009, is having it’s Hollywood Premiere at The Egyptian Theater on February 5, 2010, and will be showing at select film festivals across North America and Europe.
